Belusso: Swimwear worth buying a yacht for

Club 55 in Saint Tropez is the "spiritual home" of Belusso, the glamorous swimwear collection founded by former fashion industry lawyer Kirsten Ehrig-Sarkisian. Ehrig-Sarkisian, who is married to William Morris agent Keith Sarkisian, came up with the name of her line during a private tour of Steve McQueen's automobile collection, when she fell in love with the actor's vintage Lusso Berlinetta Ferrari. "Lusso" is the Italian word for "luxury", so she added the letters "bel" from the word "belezza"- Italian for beauty—and a resort line was born.
Marilyn Heston, the fashion PR whiz (and offspring of the late Charlton Heston) is spreading the Belusso gospel around town. She swears the bikinis are flattering, even though they may look skimpy. "They hold everything up," she assured me. Eva Longoria, Mariah Carey, Audrina Partridge, Elizabeth Banks, Ali Larter, Brooke Burke, and Jade Jagger are among the jet-setty beach bums who agree.
