"Beverly Hills 90210" inspires Henry Holland's new 501s

British designer Henry Holland (pictured) brought new meaning to the phrase  "fashionable circles", turning Levis' iconic 501s into Swiss cheese by means of laser-cut polka dots. Mirroring his circle-obsessed Spring '09 runway presentation at London Fashion Week, the holey jeans were launched today on Selfridges "Superbrands" floor, and become available to the public as of tomorrow.
The collection features six different styles in a light blue denim. Three styles are printed and three are laser-cut. Apparently, both this collection and his runway show were inspired by the original "Beverly Hills 90210" series. Whether the CW's new "90210" spin-off also goes on to inspire London creatives remains to be seen.
