Kiss and Tell
Thanks in part to reality TV and mocumentary film, fiction and fantasy are confused. Kelly Clarkson won American Idol and now she’s actually a pop star. Tenacious D was Jack Black’s joke—but the duo has legitimate fans. And wasn’t Mr. Cool Guy Justin Timberlake a boy band nerd a few years ago? Well, just to complicate things further Warner Bros. has teamed up with new musically influenced clothing company Lyric Culture to create a limited edition "Meaningless Kiss" t-shirt based on the title song from Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant’s new flick Music & Lyrics. Pieces are available online and at Diane Merrick through February. Some KISS FM listeners will win limited edition jeans as well. Plus shoppers can enter to win an autographed vintage style Gibson guitar at Diane Merrick's boutique. Muddled fact and fiction aside, new clothing and a guitar are undeniably real. $90, Diane Merrick, 7407 Beverly Blvd., (323) 930-0400, shopdianemerrick.com, lyricculture.com
