Shin winner

Having recently dined there myself, I can state with absolute confidence that the winner of our "dinner for two at Shin restaurant" competition is going to have a very lovely time.
An authentic Korean BBQ in Hollywood, Shin attracts a sexy sort of crowd. We ran in to co-owner Danny Masterson with a group of friends at the restaurant, plus a bevy of "Project Runway" models eating far more than you'd expect them to.
At the back of the lofty dining room, an unearthly glow emanated from an aquarium, home to half a dozen moon jellyfish, serenely floating around behind the bar.
The food was a carnivore's wet dream--melt in the mouth spicy chicken and marinated spencer steak delivered with completely authentic sides, kimchi 'n all, with only the slightest hint of fusion. The on-table grills have been specially constructed so as to totally avoid the annoying oily splash-back that has destroyed many a silk shirt at other Korean BBQs.
To win the dinner for two, we asked you to describe your most exotic dining experience. From your stories of eating Chinese jumping shrimp, drinking milk directly from a goat's teet and consuming mac 'n cheese a quarter of a mile underwater, I picked this romantic entry by Stevenfinly, simply because it made me want to pack my bags and head for the South Pacific immediately, just so I could find that restaurant.
"Most exotic, definitely in Tahiti. Hotel suggested my girlfriend and I try this remote restaurant high up on the hills in the middle of the island. So we did. A little VW BUS picked us up, then drove around and around the mountain, spiraling its way to the top. Once we got there, we realized we had a 360 view of Tahiti and all the small islands surrounding it (at sunset yet!). Tropical birds, a cacophony of wild flowers, waterfalls, it was truly beautiful."
Congratulations, Steven!
