Dallas Austin offers sneak-peak of his Rowdy Collection

Grammy Award winning producer/songwriter Dallas Austin, a hit-maker for the likes of TLC, Boyz II Men, Gwen Stefani, and Madonna, offered a sneak preview of his new clothing line, The Rowdy Collection, at Ivan Kane’s Café Was in L.A. this week.
Bobby Brown and Eddie Murphy danced the night away with the beautiful actress Naja Hill at the party, hosted by People’s Revolution. Bartenders wore Rowdy tees and served Ciroc Vodka to revelers. At around 11:15 p.m. eighty plus guests watched as Dallas Austin and a crew of male models emerged from a red velvet curtain wearing Rowdy's "punk meets preppy" looks, as conceived by Austin and his design consultant Gregory "Greg Mike" Mensching.
After posing for pics, Austin, who sported a Mohawk, disappeared out to the patio leaving the models to play. The ensembles bore the signature “R” with angel wings on each side and topped with a Kings crown.  The looks were all heavy leather, with colorful racer jackets and hats in a palette of basic black and white. Some of the ensembles were accessorized with colorful bandannas and sneakers, giving off a young, urban vibe. Rather than strutting down a catwalk, these models mingled with the guests. Some of them performed card tricks on top of the piano, while others were overheard talking about their love for the line.
Items from The Rowdy Collection will retail from $90 to $300 at Lisa Kline Mens.
