Hourglass Cosmetics makeovers

Makeup junkies take note—Hourglass Cosmetics, a brand known for its stunning packaging and cutting-edge ingredients, will be offering free makeovers in California in the coming weeks.
The Hourglass Artistry Team will demonstrate new fall colors at Barneys in Los Angeles and San Francisco, and will invite participants to check out their new "Solar Tan", a patent-pending self-tanning primer formula created to hydrate the skin while helping you achieve a year-round bronze glow.
Hourglass Cosmetics was launched in 2003 by beauty biz whizkid Carisa Janes. Janes, who started out at Urban Decay and went on to launch a multitide of cosmetic brands (Body & Soul, Animalia), will be at the event in Beverly Hills.
Schedule an appointment for a one-on-one consultation with a member of the Hourglass team, or visit www.hourglasscosmetics.com to learn more about the line. (Their Color Link eyeshadow palette has always been a favorite.)
The San Francisco event takes place Saturday, October 4 from 10am-6pm at Barneys New York, 77 O’Farrell St., San Francisco, CA 94108. For details or to schedule an appointment, call 415 268 3540.
The Beverly Hills event takes place Saturday, October 11 from 10am-6pm at Barneys New York, 9570 Wilshire Blvd., Beverly Hills, CA 90212. For details or to schedule an appointment, call 310.276.4400, x 5598.
